      I am. And as such, I'm probably one of the few who know just how much of a thankless labor of love this is - keeping a blog like this going - for such an extended period of time. There's no money in it, and it takes a lot of time, effort and at times, our own money, to keep things going. Storage is relatively cheap, yes... but to store as many hi-res photos as a site like this keeps in its archives, it's not going to be free.

      Just think twice about the critical and thoughtless comments before posting them. And be thankful that someone like Number2 is still out there, keeping things going. The comments are often the only fuel that keeps a blogger motivated. Please don't taint that fuel.

      I’ll try and answer this as simply as I can using small words for you.

      I have asked for donations three times and some people have given generously. I never said I’d stop the site but I’d be grateful if they liked what I was doing. Also, everyone that did donate got an additional set of unpublished pictures of my wife. I’ll assume, even though you come here EVERY day, that you did not contribute, yet you still get to see all the pictures that everyone else who did donate sees.

      Where did the money go? Mostly into my pocket. Some went for storage space. Some went to buy my wife a pair of Louboutins.

      How much did I make? None of your business but let’s say based of what I did get, my hourly rate for running this site is very low. In seven and a half years I’ve made over 2500 posts including over 1300 in a row without missing a day. What’s my time worth to you? Obviously nothing. I asked for a suggested donation of $5.00 – that comes to less than 1.5 cents a post. These posts don’t just ‘happen’. I look through all sorts of sites, find pictures of (mostly) celebrities wearing toe cleavage baring heels, download them, eliminate the pictures not needed, post them, write a brief description and usually put up a .zip file for those that want to get all of the pictures (sometimes in the hundreds) at once. I did this for over four and a half years before asking for a penny.


      I’ve got some questions for you –
      Why do you need such high-resolution pictures if you’re just looking at them on a phone?

      What are you considering high-res? The last three days (Keri Russell, Karlie Kloss, Aimee Garcia), for example, were all around 1400x2000. No one else seems to have a problem with the resolution or the .zip files (which you can unzip on a phone).

      Why do you come here every day if you don’t like what I’m doing? I’ll give you a little spoiler – it’s not going to change, no matter how much you complain. Also, buy a real computer.

    I think #2 s blog is great just the way it is. If you are a critic of any blog you are not happy with your free to start your own and then you will have your own critics. Keep up the classy blog #2 and thanks for your efforts!!
